How is the course administered?

The course is available only online at PS-Academy.org. A student must enroll, pay the course tuition, and log in each time he or she continues with the course. The student is not allowed to download or print any section of the course, or any test or exam. The student has 14-days within which to take the entire course and pass the final exam. Each module is given in the order shown above, and the student can proceed at his or her own pace. An average person could take the entire course during a single uninterrupted session of 6-hours.

How will I be tested?

Each of the six modules ends with a short test that consists of five questions (multiple choice, and true & false). The student must correctly answer 4 of the 5 questions before being able to move on to the next module. If the student does not answer 4 questions correctly, he or she will be given an opportunity to go back and review the contents of that section, and take the test again. You will be given a total of two opportunities to obtain a PASS score for each module. The student must pass 4 modules out of 6 before being permitted to take the Final Exam. If the student does not pass 4 modules, a FAIL score is given, and no certificate of completion is bestowed.

When the student has completed taking tests in all six modules, and has received a PASS in 4 of them, then the Final Exam is administered. The Final Exam consists of 50 questions (multiple choice, and true & false).

If a student receives PASS in all 6 tests, he or she must achieve a minimum score of 70% on the Final Exam to PASS the course.  If a student receives a PASS in only 5 tests, he or she must achieve a minimum score of 75% on the Final Exam to PASS the course.  If the student receives a PASS in only 4 tests, he or she must achieve a score of 80% on the Final Exam to PASS the course.  If the student FAILs the Final Exam after the first attempt, he or she will be given an opportunity to go back and review the entire course, after which you may take the Final Exam again. You will have a total of two opportunities to PASS the Final Exam. All of this must be done within the 14-day time limit.

Do I need to take the whole course at one time?

No. A student can take the course at his or her own pace, logging on or off at any time. As long as you complete the course, and PASS the Final Exam within 14-days after signing up, you're on your own.

What is the time limit to take the course?

You'll have 14-days to take the course, after which time the course time limit will expire. All modules of the course must be taken, all tests must be taken, and the final exam must be passed within that 14-day period of time. If the student does not finish all the requirements within that time limit, the course will "end", no score will be given, and no certificate of completion will be issued.

Is a "student record" kept by PS-Academy?

Information pertaining to the status of each course a student signs up for will be included in the student's permanent record at PS-Academy, although it will not be available for review by any other authority. It is for your records only, as well as to help us audit our internal procedures. Once you take the course and successfully PASS it, that information will be noted in your permanent record, and a certificate of completion will be issued. Prior attempts to obtain a PASS in any course are NOT considered part of the scoring process.
