Rule 103
Effective July 1, 2005...

Private process servers who intend to be Certified by the Supreme Court of Texas are required to prove proficiency by passing an approved professional training course that will enable each you to serve legal process out of every court in Texas.

What's an approved course?

===========>>> On October 7, 2004, the Texas Supreme Court announced substantial changes to Rule 103 of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure.  Those changes will affect every private process server in the state, and will affect the way all service will be undertaken in the state of Texas.

PS-Academy provided valuable input to help the Supreme Court devise changes that would protect the public while serving the interests of Texas process servers. Our hard work with Judges, Senators, Legislators, and the Supreme Court paid off. We put our interests aside, and worked for you.

Why? Because we believed there was a need to improve the professionalism and efficiency of the entire industry, and to ensure that only persons who were properly trained and qualified would gain authorization from the courts to serve legal process in Texas.
