This course is for experienced process servers who are interested in improving their skills, and meeting the legal requirements needed to obtain authority to server process out of certain county and district courts. The course is intended to give you, the student -
1) a review of customs and laws that gave rise to serving process out of today's Texas courts;
2) in-depth review of current state and federal laws, as well as appellate case decisions having an impact on process service;
3) revised forms, and current procedures for their correct use;
4) field implementation and practical application of advanced methodology.
The course is broken down into five sections, or modules:
module 1 - Review of the Fundamentals
module 2 - Texas and federal laws, reviewed
module 3 - Forms and Procedures: updates
module 4 - Advanced Methodology
module 5 - Field Implementation and Practical Application
